This is the 24th year Theatre Albany has offered its popular Summer Youth Workshop. The workshop will be offered for one week but for extended hours. Participants will be engaged in theatre activities from
9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. They will work on performance and mask techniques; singing; and dance with a break for lunch.*
Theatre Albany has engaged the services of three of Albany’s finest theatre craftsman: Kevin Blaise, Judy Dabbs and Adam Montague to teach.
Designed to be fun and non-competitive, our workshops are the perfect alternative to other summer programs!
*Students should bring a lunch or snack.

Costs only $150.
Registration is open until the first day of class.
Payment is due the 1st day of class; no refunds
can be given after the 2nd day.
Enrollment is limited, so register early!
Students should wear comfortable clothing
which allows a full range of movement.
The Instructors
KEVIN BLAISE
has worked as musical director for many Theatre Albany productions. A gifted vocalist in his own right, he has appeared on stage in Forever Plaid and Hello, Dolly! He teaches chorus and music at Lee County High School.
JUDY DABBS
has been an active part of Theatre Albany for 37 years choreographing some 40 productions. She taught for Pritchett-Pippin Dance Studio for 34 years.
ADAM MONTAGUE
is an actor and educator who graduated from Columbus State University with a B.S. Ed in Theatre Education, since then he has been working for Lexington Children’s Theatre in Kentucky . Adam has also taught classes for Theatre Albany, Springer Opera House, Darton College , and a smattering of high schools in Kentucky and Georgia . Currently, Adam is touring around the Atlanta area with Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Program as an actor and puppeteer. In the fall, Adam will serve as the Drama teacher in Harris County for their new intermediate school.
